PRIZE COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

 1.⁠ ⁠Promoter

 2.⁠ ⁠The Competition

2.1 These promotions are prize competitions and not lotteries or raffles.
2.2 Winners are determined by skill, knowledge and/or judgment, not by chance, in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.
2.3 Each competition will be run independently and may feature different prizes, entry prices, closing dates, and competition questions.

 3.⁠ ⁠Eligibility

3.1 Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
3.2 Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
3.3 The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant who does not meet the criteria.

 4.⁠ ⁠Entry

4.1 Entry is via the Promoter’s website only.
4.2 Entry prices will vary by competition and will be clearly stated on the relevant competition page. Entry fees will typically range from £5 to £20 per entry.
4.3 Each entry requires the correct answer to the competition question or task.
4.4 Entries submitted without a correct answer will not be eligible to win.
4.5 Unless otherwise stated, there is no limit on the number of entries per person.
4.6 All entries must be received before the stated closing date and time. Late entries will not be accepted.

Free Postal Entry

You may enter the competition for free by complying with the following conditions:

(a) send your entry on an unenclosed postcard to the Promoter at the following address:
Jacked Comps, Unit 1, Mile End Business Park, Oswestry, SY11 4JF;

(b) hand delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be entered into the random draw;

(c) include with your entry the following information:

(i) your full name;

(ii) your address;

(iii) a contact telephone number and email address;

(iv) the name of the competition you wish to enter; and

(v) your answer to the Competition Question (if there is one).

(vi) you MUST make it clear that you accept our terms and conditions as stated. Writing “I accept your terms and conditions” will be sufficient;

(d) incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;

(e) only one Postal Entry is permitted per Competition for each registered account. Postal Entries are limited to one Entry per person to each Competition. Each Postal Entry has the same chance per Entry of winning a Prize or an Instant Win Prize as an Online Entry;

(f) by entering the competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept these terms and conditions;

(g) your entry must be received by Jacked Comps prior to the Closing Date. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the random draw. Proof of posting does not guarantee that you will be entered into the random draw;

(h) Jacked Comps will not acknowledge receipt of your entry nor confirm if your answer to the Competition Question is correct;

(i) if the number of entries received reaches any cap or limit before your free entry is received, you will not be entered into the random draw;

(j) you must sign up for an account before making your entry. Entries submitted without an associated account cannot be processed. You must add your billing address to your account in order for your entries to be processed;

(k) you MAY NOT under any circumstances open an account OR send postal entries on behalf of anyone else. If (at Jacked Comps’ sole discretion) you are deemed to have entered or opened an account on someone else’s behalf, all associated accounts will be permanently banned.

 5.⁠ ⁠Competition Question & Skill Requirement

5.1 Each competition will include a non-trivial question or task designed to require genuine skill, knowledge, or judgment.
5.2 The question will be sufficiently difficult to prevent a significant proportion of entrants from answering correctly by chance alone.
5.3 Where more than one entrant answers correctly, a tie-breaker question requiring judgment will be used to determine the winner.
5.4 The Promoter’s decision regarding the correctness of answers and the winner is final.

 6.⁠ ⁠Prize

6.1 Each competition will offer one prize, which will be clearly described on the competition page.
6.2 Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless expressly stated.
6.3 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary due to circumstances beyond their control.

7.1 Each competition will have one winner.
7.2 The winner will be selected based on correct answers and, where applicable, the judged tie-breaker.
7.3 Winners will be notified via the contact details provided at entry within [e.g. 7 days] of the competition closing.
7.4 Winners must respond within [e.g. 14 days] to claim their prize.
7.5 If a winner fails to respond within the stated timeframe, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

8.1 Entry fees are non-refundable, except where a competition is cancelled by the Promoter.
